During this offseason when we began to look at different initiatives that could be implemented to enhance the sport of football within the Southwestern Athletic Conference the formation of this group quickly became a critical focal point within our strategies to reach the next level of high quality officiating in the SWAC, said SWAC Commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland. However, the 24-10 loss to Jackson State sealed the fate of collecting a seventh division trophy for the Braves. Overall seven schools rank in the top-25 for salary reductions as a result of COVID-19 (for those whose data is available).
