I have been taking Ashwagandha for awhile now as a part of my Adaptogen stack (Ash., Rhodiola, Panax Ginseng) and I'm also taking D-Aspartic Acid cycled. The bench and leg press number increases could be thrown off by 1-2 outliers who responded incredibly well to the program. So, don't worry about gyno or anything like that.I've been taking 600mg of KSM daily since June of 2018. I'm horny 24/7. I'd like to continue using it so i decided to only continue taking one capsule a day (750mg) instead of the two (1500mg) recommended on my package of Ashwagandha.I guess essentially what im asking is, has any one here used Ashwagandha for a long time and perhaps could chime in, share their experience, give any tips, and people who know anything about Gyno, share the things to look out for, early signs etc so i could stop it right in its tracks very early on.The mechanism of boosting testosterone/estrogen is probably due to lowering cortisol, which suppresses T. So I doubt that mechanism would give you a very substantial boost beyond restoring homeostasis.I don’t think have any evidence to post here but my gut tells me that there is no chance you are gonna get bitch tits from ash. Although it may not directly impact my focus/productivity, the benefits it has on the calming and anxiety are indirectly assisting in other areas. Sorry. Then I have no reason to believe you. I had taken 10mg for a month..no noticeable difference in either testosterone or energy. It's been studied with SSRI's but only in ocd so possible. I hate any study like these. Put simply, I don’t believe that much of an improvement in muscle gain can be attributed to a small bump in testosterone production. Must affect people in different ways then. Higher testosterone Ashwagandha has been proven to raise the levels of testosterone significantly. I been lifting for a couple years, gained size and strength naturally, and never done steroids. My muscles feel like they’re getting proper rest; I lift 6 days a week.Maybe the reason my experience with Ashwagandha wasn't as good as others was because I had taken it with an antidepressant (Lexapro). A meaningful difference.I started taking Ashwagandha this week. It will not boost your test levels above the natural range though.I can’t get over that he study has 18-50 year olds in it who don’t lift. I couldnt find any studies done on what exactly is the likelihood/percentage to experience serious sideeffects. It can reduce anxiety and stress, help fight depression, boost fertility and testosterone … I take it to reduce stress and not have the urge to drink so I only take it during the day so I can feel it's effects while awake.Previous steroid and current ksm66 Ashwaghanda user here. The bench and leg press number increases could be thrown off by 1-2 outliers who responded incredibly well to the program. Testosterone boosting effects were mainly seen in men with fertility issues. I wasn't aware of the testosterone boosting aspects of the Ash. Indirect androgenic steroids aren't exactly a concern of the authorities, at least not while they're hunting research chemicals/meth/racetams.I have used Ashwagandha but I'm not convinced that it really helps me personally and it might even have side effects. I dug deeper after taking my first capsule just out of curiosity and found this thread :Which got me slightly worried considering i never played around with test. My skepticism stems from the connection between the testosterone increases and subsequent muscle gain. In one small, 4-week study in 25 people, ashwagandha … How can they say this was a result STRICTLY from the asswagandha and not them starting to workout? Eh not do this with only 20-30 year olds or 40-50 year olds only lolIts what happends when the group doing the study has a vested intrest in getting positive results.I’m not doubting the study. Ashwagandha is an ancient medicinal herb with multiple health benefits. The brand I used was "Organic India" so it's also possible that something is off about that source. if this is true why isn't Ashwangandha used universally amongst atheletes?Because it doesn't cause any meaningful difference. These are inexperienced lifters, there are tooooo many variables just in that aspect alone. I take it at night and have only had good results. (cant feel music or have enough motivation to do shit)I have used it for 3 years. Im slightly confused regarding the dosage you're supposed to take aswell as the potential risk of things such as gyno (man tits?) I call bullshit.99% chance Ash is not going to raise your testosterone at all. Good luck with dem titties! That’s such a wide and stupid age range. A few weeks ago i discovered Ashwagandha as basically this magical cure to anxiety, stress, depression and a fuckload of other things, even an increase in testosterone, mostly positive for men.
